But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things that are mighty….things which are not to bring to nought things which are 1 Corinthians 1:27-28)
God calls the ‘are nots’ (1 Cor 1;27,28) those who “are not” capable and qualified to do the most extraordinary and new, so that when the job gets done he alone gets all the glory! Moses said “I’m not a prophet,” God said, “that’s cool, you’re the next candidate!”
Now that’s crazy Moses could not talk! yet God called him to be a prophet! Prophets must have a command of English! Not Moses. So why does God choose unlikely candidates? The answer is simply. He chooses those that other men overlook so that he God gets all the attention when the impossible gets done.
Insignificant, God can use you!
