God calls the ‘are nots’ (1 Cor 1;27,28) those who “are not” capable and qualified to do the most extraordinary and new, so that when the job gets done he alone gets all the glory! Moses said “I’m not a prophet,” God said, “that’s cool, you’re the next candidate!”
Now that’s crazy Moses could not talk! yet God called him to be a prophet! Prophets must have a command of English! Not Moses. So why does God choose unlikely candidates? The answer is simply. He chooses those that other men overlook so that he God gets all the attention when the impossible gets done.
Insignificant, God can use you!
Paul.
I really liked this. God uses the unlikely. It’s not about who’s popular. It’s not about our image but God’s image in us. Jesus is the image we are supposed to show to the world and it seems as though many do not like that image. Be different like Gideon. A weakling and fearful man yet God used him as a mightyl example to destroy nations. Have a blessed day Paul.
Very true! It’s amazing how some very simple things can confound the experts when the are not’s have a clear view of the same. I’ve found if I don’t look at things from a theological world view my wisdom gets pretty shaky.
i KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE. GOD SEEMS TO ALWAYS USE THE LEAST AMONG US TO ACCOMPLISH HIS WORK. HE SEEMS TO REVEAL HIS TRUTH TO THE HUMBLE AND NOT TO THE PROUD. BEING DISQUALIFIED BY THE WORLD DOESN’T MAKE ONE DISQULAIFIED BY GOD.
Ain’t that the truth. God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. May God get all the Glory :DAwesome stuff Bro Paul.Sherline 😀
I just love how God calls the are nots because when He calls them He knows anything they do they must give God glory because they could not of done it on there own….Lovely post!
Thank you Desiray…UR Called by God!…theres no greater calling.. and may I add, this means you have already achieved before you have even began, everything you do now is the result of that success!Have a great day..Paul
