In a pulpit where we long to have fresh revelation, new truth, new understanding. I find myself entering a new year wanting a new perspective from scriptures, a new theme. However upon deeper investigation I find that it’s not a new story I need but rather the desire to see the old retold. Why think of a new story when the old old story is the greatest story ever told? It’s not finding something new to say but rather telling that which can never be outdated.
