Spiritual Gifts PT2
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge (1 Corinthians 12:8).
Knowledge is power, so they say. The church is suffering from a lack of power, but how can that be? We have more information about more things that ever before. We can discover anything and most things online right before our eyes day and night, all day and night, yet the church is powerless. The reason is this we teach by reason and tradition rather than by revelation which is truth. The tradition we call truth always bypasses revelation when it becomes accepted as common knowledge. Common knowledge will send us to sleep but revelation, the God kind of knowledge, knowledge from the Spirit, knowledge from the mind of Christ will awaken a slumbering giant.
Its time to awake and preach as the Spirit leads. How do you know when its revelation. When what you say opens the eyes of the blind and awakes the giant that sleeps.
