In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God. (John 1;1 KJV)
In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. (AMP)
WhAT God was the word was and the word was God. God and his word can never be separated. The word of a man is the man speaking, his thoughts mind and wisdom. Similarly the word is the mind thoughts and wisdom of God and it’s this WORD that is made FLESH and dwelt among us (v14).
The WORD was made flesh was not a part of God but fully God. “he that has seen me has seen the Father” said the WORD (John 14;9). His name means the Father EMMANUEL with us (Isaiah 9;6). Sure he was the “son in redemption” but he was the also the “father in creation,” with us. Sure he was the son of God with power but he was also the everlasting Father and Mighty God. You just can’t have one part of him and not the other, he is both the Word of God and God!
