Remember when:
Church held three meetings every Sunday, with Sunday school in the afternoon and testimony time in the evening>
Remember when, church had sunshine corner for kids under 99 on a Wednesday!
Remember when the church had a mid week Prayer meeting!
Remember when you could pray out loud one by one, speak in tongues as the spirit led you and someone else would interpret!
Remember the gift of prophecy coming from someone in the pew!
Remember when the one who led praise and worship was the Spirit, not, a leader who said ‘someone shout’ ‘someone say amen’ ‘everyone pray!’
Remember when the preacher didn’t have to pump up the congregation and they didn’t have to clay after every song!
Remember when the preacher spoke simple messages, and would start off his sermon with a text and end it with an alter call!
Remember when they had no flashing lights and everyone could see everyone else and find their seat…in church!
Remember when they took offering without spending fifteen minutes giving you a sermon on giving!
Remember the moving of the Spirit among those in the pew!
…this is not criticism, just sharing some good old times way of doing things!
They call them the good old days…what think ye?
