Continuing my mini series of the cults and false prophets who preach another gospel and another Jesus. by another Jesus I refer to a Jesus who is presented with any other gospel other than the one we witness of in acts and his gospels written by the apostles. If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this, that He has testified concerning His Son. – New American Standard Version (1995)
During my discussion with my Mormon friends they asked me if I would receive the testimony of Joseph Smith? My reply was, I have already found the God that religion could never give me! Mormonism wants me to accept that God speaks to prophets today. Friend I believe God speaks to prophets today, but its Jesus that has the final say because he himself is the final revelation of God. He said, “He who has seen me has seen the father.” The final revelation of who God is is Jesus.Now what more do you need to know other than the person of God!
No prophet can better that!
The testimony of God is greater than the testimony of men and the reason is this Jesus is God God is his own endorsement the endorsement of his own word. There is nothing like the author of the book to give his own endorsement.
He didn’t send another to confirm it he came himself!
Christ is the faithful witness (Rev 1:5) The Amen, the faithful and true witness (Rev 3:15) and the reason is this Christ came bearing witness of the father in himself.
To Know Jesus is to know the heavenly father (John 8:19). He Jesus is all the witness we need. His account is true. No let every other witness be anathema. Let them be accursed, they have born false witness.
Christ alone has died for me. Christ alone shed his blood for me. Christ alone bears witness of truth. Christ alone gives me salvation. Christ alone rose again. Joseph Smith done none of those things, so why should I accept his word above the word of Jesus?
Any other witness that says any other gospel other than the gospel of Jesus, let him be accursed. We have a more sure word of prophecy, Jesus is that prophesy. JESUS IS GOD!
Jesus is the final witness. Any other witness prophet or voice than comes later than he declaring another gospel. he preaches damnable heresy to which I shall never be a part
