Provoking ought on the One a true God, Jesus Christ
Back in the nineties it was the scriptures according to the Prophet Isaiah that led me to the truth that God was o e and not three co equal persons. Isaiah saw the Lord and scriptures clarity tell us the Lord is God.
To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, (Isaiah 40:25).
Isaiah then calls this God that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, v28 and in verse 31 he calls him the LORD. “I the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he.” (Isaiah 41:4).
I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 41:14).
Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, (Isaiah 42:5-8).
But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee,I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God,
the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: ( Isaiah 43).
Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? (Isaiah 43:10-14).
Thus saith the Lord that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, (Isaiah 44:2).
Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. And who, as I, shall call,
and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, (Isaiah 44:).
Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. (Isaiah 44:8).
Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; (Isaiah 44:24).
I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. (Isaiah 46:5).
Isaiah saw the Lord, I want to, do you?
