Jesus, He has it All

In him dwelleth the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Col 2:9)
The word for “Godhead” IS “THEOTES”which means “essentially deity.” In Romans 1:20 The Word Godhead THEIOTES means “divinity” or divine attributes. Jesus is essentially God, possessing all attributes that make God, God! He lacks nothing that God has as he essentially and uniquely is God. While some attributes are communicable such as love, joy and peace others are not. Omnipresence, omnipotence and omniscience. God alone has these attributes. Proof of his duality of nature and essentiality of being.
“Dwelleth” has permanent residence. Can God ever be without his nature? Has God ever been without power, all of it! Has God ever been without holiness, all of it! If not then he must essentially be God and God all of the time. Even as man he was God.
The “eternal son” doctrine makes nonsense of the deity of Jesus for it states that he is God but not supremely God. But friend, Jesus cannot cease being God any more than you can stop being a human being. Your attributes are yours and in your possession from the time you were a son to the time you are a father and beyond. Similarly Jesus as father and son possesses all the characteristics of God’s fulness, all of the time, as father in the Old Testament and as Son in the New.
Hes omnipresent as a son as much as hes omnipresent as a father he just didn’t get to show it!
He is fully God as a son and fully God as a Father.
When weary with his journey he was fully God and completely man
When hitchhiking on a borrowed donkey he was fully God and fully man
When fully tempted just like we are, he was fully God and fully man
Someone once said “did Jesus ever say he was God i replied yes he told the one person who aught to know better, the devil himself thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve!”
The fulness of the Godhead even in his humiliation dwelt in that bodily form.
