The Power of Christ’s Finished Work (Deliverance Pt3)

23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24   and are justified freely by his GRACE THROUGH THE REDEMPTION  that is in Jesus Christ 25 God presented Him as the atoning sacrifice through faith in His blood, in order to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had passed over the sins committed beforehand.…(Romans 3;23)

We have been looking at the topic of DELIVERANCE  and have been asking the question Can a Christian have a demon? today I want to take a look at the redemption and what it means to us as believers and the importance of understanding this REST in Christ a rest in his completed work of salvation

Now I know there are some who will need deliverance before they are saved, but for saved folks to want deliverance after following the lord twenty thirty years or more that’s ridiculous, it comes from not resting in in the FINISHED  work of Christ. Further its an abandonment by deceiving spirits and those who have taught them the necessity of deliverance. These teachers have no revelation of the FINISHED work of Christ nor any revelation of the TRUE SALVATION of being born of water  and spirit and Blood.

it in order to REST in our salvation and the e is a Rest we should stand in the truth of our salvation here then are ten vital truth of our redemption as given in the scriptures.

  1. We  because of the death of Christ are redeemed from the CURSE of the law. (Galatians 3;13) ‘Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:’
  2. Ephesians 1:7: “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.”
  3. Romans 2;23: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”
  4. 1 Corinthians 15;25 and 1 John 3;8 “In Christs redemption work, he subdued Satan and disarmed him of all authority and was himself put under the foot of Christ.
  5. Colossians 1;13: Redemption dealt with the sin problem. ‘in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.’
  6. Christ redeeming work dealt with the sickness, disease and death problem once and for all. *Isaiah
  7. Colossians 1;13-14: When Christ redeemed us he rescued us and DELIVERED us “from the dominion of darkness” and delivers them into God’s kingdom of light Colossians 1:13-14). ‘God has freed us from the power of darkness, and he brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son. 14 The Son paid for our sins,[a] and in him we have forgiveness.; (NCV)
  8. redeeming people from danger, oppression, captivity, and death (Psalm 72;14; 103:4;106:10; 107:2:Isaiah 43:1)
  9. We are forgiven and cleansed from our sins  Matthew 26:28; Hebrews 9:14: Ephesians 1:7: 1 John 1:7). released from guilt and condemnation Hebrews 9:14: Romans 5:9: Romans 8:1-2) and restored to fellowship with God 1 John 1:69).
  10. Free from bondage to sin Rev 1;5; Romans 3;23-24: Romans 6:18,22; 1 Peter 3;16)

The Old testament picture of Moses and the children of Israel reveals his DELIVERANCE. A deliverance form Pharoah and SLAVERY, it involved the blood being sprinkled on the doorposts, the water, The saints going through the red seas. that’s where the baptism took place and all enemies were drown (Romans) and the entrance into the promised land. a picture of the Spirit. so here we have the picture of the blood, water and spirit, or SALVATION of God people now my question is if that what it took to DELIVER God’s people then , how come we too need to get deliverance when we have already been through the waters and received of his Spirit under a greater covenant the covenant of grace this side of Calvary?.

Paul ‘said thy grace is sufficient for me‘ Paul who had persecuted and murdered the saints said they grace is sufficient for me think of his life. Some would say he had a murdering spirit. yet we do not read of any deliverance talking place in his life. He hated the believers, some would sat he had a spirit of hate yet there is no record of Paul having deliverance! and may I add Paul was never tried on any crime, either, no wonder then he could say ‘Thy grace is sufficient for me,’

His life proves that not all who commit sin (and for all have sinned), have demons or are possessed by demons. you see in Paul’s life his SALVATION was real powerful and life changing, no easy believism here of asking Jesus into ones heart and claiming he was saved no he was baptized into Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost

Jesus cried on the cross, It is finished!

The finished work was the completion of all that was necessary for the soul to be Saved.
