My friend the other day was saying that he has trouble praying. He said that he finds too much to do whenever he even attempts to pray. Now he’s single and his at home office is sometimes in a bit of a jumble. I suggested that his problem was not an inability to pray but a lack of order. When all you see around you are jobs that need to be done then that’s a distraction. Disorder is a distraction. Disorder is not a result of a distracted mind but the result of a cluttered room. Frustration is not the result of having too much to do but rather, having to little order. If you want to be able to get things done, set order around you.
Amen.
