The blessing of being a child of God is that we know our God, our father, intimately and what a pleasure it is to know his name. The name he has given to us gentiles, the name that shows us who he God is. The invisible made visible, then unknown, now known, God in the flesh. Jehovah who has become my Jesus. The everlasting Father who has become my Saviour. Now our father is knowable and we know him because of that name. No other name of God reveals God in the flesh!
Every man should know their father, its natural, its healthy, its necessary. To know God by another name is not to know him at all. because this name,
the name above all names tells us who God is in person.
his name tells me that he is everything that the Lord God was in the Old Testament and he is everything that the Lord Jesus is in the New Testament , same God! The one true and only living God. Our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ, the one in whom God dwells in order fo us to know who he is, in the flesh. “In him dwells the fulness of the Godhead bodily,” this means he is God and man, father and Son, to me.
Because I know Jesus by name, I know my father too, after all every son should know his father’s name. If he don’t he does not really know him at all. I’m glad I know my heavenly father’s name. How about you?
Paul.

I read through several of your posts, and landing here I will make comments about a couple of things. The day of the prophet is upon us. God spoke this into my spirit seven years ago. I did do something about it, and got removed from that church. Let’s just say that I removed myself from that church. I recently read the second chapter of Acts, where Peter declares that what the Prophet Joel said about the spirit of God being poured out was fulfilled before their eyes. Considering the context of Joel’s second chapter, I would say that God blew the doors off that day. Therefore the day of prophet has been here all along. As for me, I am stepping back into the role that God called me to. Until another path opens up, then I am willing to be prophetic in my blogging. Rev 19:10 The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. As for this blog, while I believe that there is an importance in finding your father, and learning of his character. My past is not so pretty and I lost two daughters over it. They have grown up without me. While I did attempt a contact with them, they have made no effort to reciprocate. It is not in my best interest to push them, therefore, although I agree, I will have to relax and let God do the restoration work for me.I believe that it is Deuteronomy that declares, though your children are as far as the east is from the west, I will restore them to you. This is my anchor, and his name is Jesus ChristGlad to have met you.Oz
When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. Psalm 27:10
My Brother Thank you, your post has touched my heart. I’ve just seen my Son come back to God and I will have the faith with you too to see a restoration in your ministry and of your girls also in Jesus name. Many thanks for connecting
