“The problem with “too much” is that we can all die, having never lived. ”
Materialism living with things in mind creates problems for it focuses on “getting” rather than “being.” Just how much more stuff we can have? who knows! It seems to me that to much is never enough and having more, never satisfies. In reality we need very little to be happy, for happiness does not come from posession’s, You can’t talk to the brick walls, your car cannot fall in love with you, your money can’t touch your heart and make you smile, The problem with “too much” is that we can all die, having never lived. Imagine having on your grave stone, “he chased stuff!” I rather have one that read “he went after life!” What is life? the things you do that matter when things around you don’t! I’m a “human being” not a “human getting.” How about you!
